I went through all the Trauma Center shipfics on fanfiction.net.
And out of all 274 of them, you know how many had same-sex pairings.
Four.
Two were M/M, two were F/F. Of the two F/F stories one was abandoned after one chapter which was simply an in-game cutscene with more detail, the other was a one-shot where two of the Trauma Team doctors drink sake and go for a walk while holding hands.
The yaoi was cuddly enough, I suppose…
…god /damn/ it, Trauma fandom. If you’re going to ship hetero all the time ever at least don’t go for the same three painfully obvious pairings 90% of the time.
I did not realize that it was offensive to write for heterosexual pairings that were hinted at in canon.
